It is a format created for the Brother Industries and the Bernina International series machines. PES files are linked to manufacturing processes that are assisted by computers. It is used in the generation of designs for embroidered patterns and images for Babylock Brother or formats related to Bernina Home Embroidery. The creation of these designs can be done using CorelDRAW and software for embroidery machines.
PES files are put in code using a line of code and is later transformed in to an embroidery base image that can be used by the machine to place the design on to the desired media. The PES file is associated with Computer Aided Manufacturing and has codes that dictate skipping or stopping of the process and utilizes a range of colors provided by the machine software.
