Description🔵 The SDC file format is a vector-based drawing format used by the open-source office suite LibreOffice and its predecessor OpenOffice.org. SDC stands for "StarOffice Drawing (Calc)". It is an XML-based file format used to create and edit 2D vector graphics, including flowcharts, diagrams, and technical drawings.
Technical details🔵 The SDC format stores the graphical objects as a collection of vector-based drawing commands, along with the position, size, and other attributes of each object. The format also supports layers, allowing multiple objects to be grouped and manipulated as a single unit. SDC files can be edited using various applications, including LibreOffice Draw, OpenOffice.org Draw, and Apache OpenOffice Draw. They can be exported to other vector-based file formats such as SVG or PDF, or to raster image formats such as PNG or JPEG. SDC files are also compatible with Microsoft Visio, although some features may not be fully supported.
